Announcing the 2023 Wild Salmon Celebration!

 

The Chefs' Table Society of British Columbia and Go Wild BC Salmon join together with ten restaurants around the province to celebrate wild BC salmon!

October 27th to 29th, 2023

Chefs' Table Society of British Columbia (CTS) is excited to announce a collaborative event with the BC Salmon Marketing Council and 10 restaurant across BC in celebration of the rich heritage of wild BC salmon and to promote sustainable fisheries. From October 27th to 29th, 2023, 10 renowned restaurants across British Columbia will feature their delectable salmon dishes that showcase the region's iconic seafood.

BC's wild salmon is a culinary treasure and a cornerstone of the province's culinary culture. This provincial celebration aims to honor the legacy of wild salmon and local fishers while raising awareness about the importance of sustainable fishing practices to protect this valuable resource for future generations.

Participating restaurants from various regions of British Columbia will craft exclusive salmon dishes that highlight the versatility and flavour of wild BC salmon. These special dishes will be available throughout the three-day event, offering diners a unique opportunity to savor a wide range of salmon dishes, from traditional to innovative.

"This event highlights the intersection of culinary excellence and environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of serving sustainable BC products.”
